כוכבה במדנחא ואתין למסגד לה܂

אף אנתי ביתלחם דיהודא לא
הויתי בצירא במלכא דיהודא מנכי גיר נפוק מלכא דהו
נרעיוהי לעמי איסראיל܂

ושדר אנון לביתלחם ואמר להון זלו עקבו על טליא
חפיטאית ומא דאשכחתוניהי תו חואוני דאף אנא אזל
אסגוד לה܂

הנון דין כד שמעו מן מלכא אזלו והא
כוכבא הו דחזו במדנחא אזל הוא קדמיהון עדמא דאתא קם
לעל מן איכא דאיתוהי טליא܂

ועלו לביתא
וחזאוהי לטליא עם מרים אמה ונפלו סגדו לה ופתחו סימתהון
וקרבו לה קורבנא דהבא ומורא ולבונתא܂

ואתחזי
להון בחלמא דלא נהפכון לות הרודס ובאורחא אחרתא אזלו
לאתרהון܂

כד דין אזלו אתחזי מלאכא דמריא בחלמא
ליוסף ואמר לה קום דבר לטליא ולאמה וערוק למצרין ותמן הוי
עדמא דאמר אנא לך עתיד הו גיר הרודס למבעיה לטליא איך
דנובדיוהי܂

סגיאא רחיל בכיא על בניה ולא צביא למתביאו מטל דלא
איתיהון܂

ביהוד חלף הרודס אבוהי דחל דנאזל לתמן ואתחזי לה
בחלמא דנאזל לאתרא דגלילא܂
